More than that the LaCie’s golden hard drive can store up to 500 GB of information; pretty cool huh? It uses USB 2.0 interface. Actually inside it is a pretty basic external hard drive but the gold makes it look rich.

Why do people always want more? I would better take the 2 TB one from LaCie, cause practical use is more important to me. Or if I really wanted to buy this gadget I would wait a bit when its price drops to 9 next month.

Anyways Gold appearance might be important to some people. Imagine the situation when you come to a meeting, get a golden hard drive out of your bag and connect it to the PC. That makes you an important person right away.
